Clickstory maintains a digital archive on Indian dance and music based on still pictures. The pictures were mainly clicked by Parichay Chakrabarti. The main aim is to gratify Indian culture and heritage, Guru-Sishya (teacher-disciple) parampara for future generations. So, they can get information about Indian behavior, respect, love, pain, agony, costume, makeup, light, stage, sitting arrangement in the auditorium, and so on.

List of Dancers and their work covered by clickstory

The upcoming project is to store the works of Indian dancers in alphabetical order. The preference is given to those dancers/artists whose programme(s) are covered by Parichay Chakrabarti. The sketch is as follows:

• A brief biodata of the dancer.
• Dance programme(s) moment pictures in sequential order.

The next part is to cover the normal life, rehearsal, practice of the dancers from day tonight. Still, pictures and a small clip (2-3 mins) of the dancer’s performance will be the most important factors.

Photography experiments

When Parichay published his website, invites his students to write about photography. They were gladly accepted to write some photographic journey based on their experience. How to hold a DSLR camera, a technique to click without camera shake, etc.

That will be high time to focus himself/herself in a particular genre and enhance the skill more and more with updated news, howto’s and try to create his/her style. There are 9 classical genres available from various states of India. Gaudiya dance is Bengal’s classical dance form. The maximum genre of Indian classical dance form came from south India itself. These classical forms are recognized by Sangeet Natak Akademy of India and the Ministry of Culture, India.
