Fly in the wind
Hello! Friends. How are you? Today I am going to discuss the new creative photography idea – Fly in the wind.
Requirements for the photography idea fly in the wind:
- A model [Biyas from myside]
- An umbrella
- A stool
How to or the technique behind this photography idea.
Choose a well-lighted room or rooftop with a single wall or background. It helps to cut the subject easily.
Ask your model to sit on the stool. Try to use a small diameter stool so that it helps you to eliminate the stool in post-production time.
Give an umbrella in the model’s hand and tell her to act like that she is flying in the air. A little backward bent and stretching the hand and legs in such a fashion, that it looks like the model or subject is flying the wind with the umbrella.
Camera specification:
- Autofocus with matrix or evaluative metering mode
- Shutter Speed: 1/125 s
- Aperture: f/5.6 or f/8
- ISO: 100-400 based on light condition.
Click as much as you can until and unless you are satisfied. Now store the files and choose the best one. Open your photo editor. Photoshop is my photo editor. Edit the image file for proper exposure, color correction, contrast, and so on.
Now select the subject using a quick selection tool. Carefully eliminate the stool by pressing the alt key. If you release the alt key, the selection area will be increased by dragging the cursor. Pressing the alt key from the keyboard eliminates the selection. Therefore, you should be very much careful in such an operation.
When you are satisfied with the proper selection, leave it and press Ctrl + j. it creates a new layer with the subject only. Now insert a background image file as a new layer. Drag the subject-only layer as the topmost layer of all layers.
If you want tit-bit error correction or more perfection, inset a layer mask in the subject-only layer. Use a brush tool and be sure that the foreground color is black. Now eliminate the small error.
Hope you may like this photography idea. I am waiting to see your awesome creative clicks. All the very best.
